
Santa Barbara police are on the lookout for a bank robber who got away with an undisclosed amount of money on December 1.
At about 11:15 a.m., a man entered the Santa Barbara Bank & Trust at 695 Front St. in Soledad. Police say the man walked to the counter, pulled out a handgun, and ordered the teller to give him money. The man left after the tellers handed over the cash and has not yet been apprehended.
Witnesses described the gunman as being 5 or 5-and-a-half feet tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt under a black jacket, a navy blue scarf, and black Converse shoes.
Police are asking anyone with information on this Santa Barbara crime to come forward.
