Bios For the Law Firm of Bamieh & Erickson

Laura is the most recent addition to our team of professionals.  Her primary role at Bamieh & Erickson coincides with her most recent legal experience.  Laura will be working in the areas of personal injury and family law.  Laura earned a certificate of concentration in criminal law while in law school, and will continue to work in this area on a special assignment basis within our criminal division. 

Laura had a career prior to law, when she worked for the County of Ventura in Adult Protective Services investigating allegations of abuse and neglect against seniors and dependent adults.  She also worked on special projects related to elder abuse litigation that required extensive legal research and comprehensive analysis.  One of Laura's most notable accomplishments was being named the valedictorian of her law school class.

While Laura's professional background is an excellent addition to Bamieh & Erickson, PLC., Laura also continues the firm's tradition of service to community.  Laura has volunteered numerous hours with the Santa Barbara Public Defender's Office, and has also volunteered extensive hours at the Ventura County Family Law Self-Help Center.
