We engage the prosecution early with the goal of reducing or eliminating as many of the most serious charges as possible. In federal cases, we are often able to do this even before formal charges are filed against you.

Ron Bamieh is a former Ventura County Senior Deputy Prosecutor, where he quickly established a reputation as an outstanding trial lawyer. He eventually became the youngest person ever appointed Senior Deputy D.A. and never lost a felony case as a prosecutor. Prior to joining the Ventura County D.A.'s office, he worked with the U.S. Justice Department as an Assistant Chief Deputy responsible for defense of federal civil lawsuits.

Jennifer Groce is a former probation officer who has emerged as a leading practitioner in the areas of complex felony sentencing, criminal resolution options, and juvenile justice. She also handles much of our firm's family law practice.

David Ring brings 17 years of civil trial experience to our personal injury clients, and is known for his innovative use of computer-assisted and multimedia presentations to illustrate and clarify complex forensic evidence in court. See our personal injury website for more information.

Our firm's co-founder, Philip Erickson, passed away in 2005 at the height of a successful career. Each of us tries to follow his example by keeping the interests of our clients foremost at all times.
